Life is so interesting! I have had so many different eye opening experiences this week. I am really starting to take on a whole different attitude about BB and what it means to me. Surely you all know that to be a female BB requires somewhat of a thick skin. The sport does not provide you with finacial stablity, mainstream appeal, or any guarentee's. We ( FBB ) compete, train, diet, etc... for our own individual reasons. Whatever our motivation- we do what we do for the shear love of it. Sometimes I think we all sit home at night and wonder why we have such a passion for this whole thing!! I know that I can't take what the judges/fans/player haters say about ME! I won't allow those people to upset me. Life is too short. We all -- whether you be fat, skinny, muscle bound, green, blue, purple-- need to love ourselves. We need to embrace our unique qualities. I think we spend way to much energy concentrating on things that we dislike about our bodies. Love yourself! Life is just too short. It is a fleeting moment. You need to embrace life-- not fight with it. Now- enough!!! That was way to heavy! I am training Hamstrings today. I will do some cardio, abs too! I work at the hospital today- seeing diabetics mostly. I also am going to my favorite clients bachelorett party. I am excited- I haven't been to one of these in forever. We are meeting at a place in Greenwich village- close to my house. Tomorrow --- I have a phone conference with a consulting company that I work for. I see women with gestational diabetes. I work like a travelling nurse. I instruct them on theri diets and shoe them how to take an insulin shot and test their blood sugar. I am trying to make a difference in people's live- one person at a time. Thanks to all my fans for all your support.
